I live my version of the good life. I am married to a wonderful man, and have three beautiful step-children. We share our time between Grimstad in the south of Norway and Sørvær in the very north. In addition, we’ve fallen in love with Italy and dream of a little house in the mountain village of Montemagno outside Pisa.

But I don’t need to go back many years for life to be very different. For ten years I owned a restaurant together with my sister. It was my life and identity.

I lived extremely unhealthy with large amounts of coffee, cakes and TV-dinners.  With constant overload of work and stress and a lack of sleep I had the perfect formula to break down my own body.

I was done working with anything that had to do with food after the restaurant was sold. Then a little time went by, I started breathing again and slowly enjoying cooking. I discovered raw food and the thought of ”the energy you put into your food and cooking is the energy you feed your body”.  I started doing cooking workshops with a yoga studio focusing on the combination of food, movement and health.

In July 2013 I finished my training as a health coach at IIN (Institute of Integrative Nutrition).  This really opened my eyes to holistic healing of health problems and that there is no one-size-fits-all-diet.

My goal is to inspire you to discover the joy of cooking. I want to show how easy it can be to create good, healthy food from scratch and most importantly of all, when you add a dash of love, there is no going wrong.

I want to help you get back to that healthy version of yourself that you lost track of on the way.

My work is important because food is the fuel we need to keep us healthy, regenerate our bodies and ultimately live our life dream.

I'm here to remind you to take care of your body, it is the only one you’ve got.

My question for you is; What would you like to learn about food and health?

And finally; I am far from perfect and do not think of food as a religion with strict rules. I am a work in progress and very happy about it being that way.
